Students interested in any of the following are encouraged to reach out: food and nutrition policy evaluation, retail food environments, nutritional epidemiology, commercial determinants of health, social and behavioural sciences.

Opportunities

  • Graduate students (MSc/PhD) – applications go through the University of Ottawa School of Epidemiology and Public Health graduate program. Prospective applicants should email Daniel directly before applying to discuss fit and current project availability. The are no current openings for graduate students. Prospective Masters and Doctoral students with an intended Fall 2027 enrollment may reach out to Daniel for more information. These potential openings will be updated in Winter/Spring 2027.

  • Undergraduate research/thesis projects – occasional openings for undergraduate research assistants and thesis students; email to ask about current availability.

  • Postdoctoral fellows – openings depend on funding; email to inquire.
