Bayley Furtado

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Bayley Furtado is a fourth-year undergraduate student in Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa with an interest in public health and epidemiology. She has experience with systematic and scoping reviews, and with research on juvenile idiopathic arthritis, access to primary care in rural communities, and nutrition policies. Bayley is particularly interested in health policy and public health research, and how to connect the evidence we generate to the lives of communities we seek to improve. In addition to her studies and research interests, Bayley volunteers is a variety of capacities in local hospitals, clinics, and camps. She hopes to pursue graduate studies in epidemiology or public health.
