Laurence Lefebvre is a Master of Public Health student at the University of Ottawa specializing in health policy. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Conflict Studies and Human Rights with a minor in Political Science from the University of Ottawa. Laurence brings several years of experience advising senior officials in the Government of Canada, including serving as Senior Advisor to the Minister of Health, where she advanced prevention-focused, equity-driven policy files and supported intergovernmental relations. She is driven by a commitment to prevention, equity, and healthier communities. Laurence is particularly interested in how governments can reduce the burden of chronic disease through structural policy change, regulatory action, and strategic public health leadership.
